Kenkätehdas Leo Pajuniemi OY is a
family business founded in 1961. At first the company produced
only shoes for children but after the extension, built in the
1970's, the company started producing shoes for men too. In 1981
the company moved on to it's present premises and added womens
shoes to production. Today the company makes womens and mens
shoes and also wintershoes.
Almost every pair of shoes is sold on the market of Finland;
only a small amount of production is exported to Sweden, for now.
The company employees approx. 8 persons at the moment.

Arto Pajuniemi works as a managing
director, Helen Pajuniemi-Vataja works as a chairman of the
board.

FENOMEX
The company has participated in
researching a new and a warmer sole called Fenomex which has
been awarded with INNOSUOMI -prize in 1997.
Work distribution
Arto Pajuniemi is in charge of
production and material suppliment. Kirsti Pajuniemi
does the office work.
